LEGO® DUPLO® Trains App

Project mission – Make Learning Through Play tangible: this new app should seamlessly integrate the play features and functionalities of the LEGO® DUPLO® train products while adhering to DUPLO® brand guidelines and art assets. Users should be able to step away from their devices at any time without disrupting the core experience. This approach will encourage children to learn through play, while also inspiring parents and caregivers to engage actively in the fun.

My mission: This LEGO® DUPLO® Trains App project marked my first opportunity to lead the UI/UX design and it was also the first experience working with parents and toddlers as target audience. My goal was to create a fun and engaging app that mirrored the joy of the physical play experience. Rather than creating another typical video app like YT, I provided users with a sense of journey as they navigated through the app. Additionally it was essential for me to design a UI that felt tangible and engaging for screens intended for toddlers.
